Over the years I had been playing around with the
idea of getting a bulldog tattoo to signify my nickname. I had never found the one I
really liked until around January 2002. Most of the bulldog's I
have seen out at tattoo shops were the typical Marine or mascot
bulldog. Then one day I came across a doodle by an artist named
Anita Dufalla on the Wonderful
World of Bulldogs webpage. It was the first image that I really liked. It
captured the attitude that I felt my bulldog should project. I
played with the image a little and added my personal touches to it (like a Kawasaki Vulcan logo to the arm) and took it to my tattoo artist. Froggy added
his flair and we inked it on 8/24/02. |

Shaved and ready to rock. The last view of my unmarked flesh.

| Sadly, on January 26, 2004 Froggy, aka John Matthew
Herrell passed away. He will be missed by many not only for his
great talent as a tattoo artist, but as a great friend. I am proud
to wear Froggy's art on my body and wish that he had more time with
us. He leaves behind a loving wife and a beautiful baby
daughter. Of those who walked the earth, Froggy was one of the good
ones. He will be missed. Rest in peace Bro...
